Lead Engineer, Full Stack Software

Lead Engineer, Full Stack Software

Full Time

San Francisco, California

The Position

As a lead engineer at Sofar, you’ll be spending your time between architecture, technical leadership, and individual contribution on a day-to-day basis. You’ll take ownership of projects spanning different technologies, platforms, and across all layers of our applications.

We have a small fleet of customer-facing apps that are in production - spotter dashboard, sofar spotter app, and the trident controller to name a few - and we’ve got a lot more exciting projects in the works that we haven’t made public yet. You’ll focus on some of these, building out the applications and supporting infrastructure.

You have expertise in fullstack web technologies, but are comfortable managing projects with hardware and embedded application elements.

As a lead engineer you’ll demonstrate both project and technical leadership, as well as being a cultural role model for the team and company.
