> Sofar Ocean is an ocean intelligence company operating the world's largest privately-owned ocean sensor network, providing real-time ocean data, marine weather forecasting, and voyage optimization software to the maritime, energy, government, and research sectors.

Sofar's Spotter buoy network collects over 1.5 million ocean observations a day (25+ million cumulative hours of data, 2,500+ Spotters deployed worldwide). That data feeds Sofar's proprietary marine weather models and its Wayfinder voyage-optimization platform. Customers and partners include NOAA, the U.S. Navy, and major commercial shipping operators.
