Southern Ocean Wave Atlas

An analysis conducted by M. Wandres, J. Aucan, A. H. Espejo, C. Bosserelle, N. Jackson, A. d. R. N'Yeurt, and H. Damlamian from the University of the Pacific evaluates distant-source swell events that caused coastal inundation on Fiji's Coral Coast, utilizing Sofar Ocean's Spotter platform.

Following the deployment of buoys 2km offshore Fiji's coast, researchers monitored real-time wave and pressure data collected by the Spotter Platform during the significant wave and inundation event occurring from May 25-28, 2018.
