Passive acoustics does most of the work. The same node reports sea state, wind, and the water column, so activity and conditions arrive in one picture, and not every alert is an acoustic one.

Most sites carry a monitoring obligation, a security exposure, or both. Neitherone justifies a permanent installation. Sentrix covers the sites and thetimeframes that fixed infrastructure was never going to reach.
Ports and harbors
A harbor master answers for the fairway, the berths, and everything moving through them. Below the surface, most have no picture at all. Of roughly 3,700 commercial ports worldwide, only a fraction have any underwater capability.
Sentrix covers the approach and the berth. Activity in the water, conditions at the site, and an alert the moment either changes. Where a port already has infrastructure, Sentrix reaches the locations and the hours it does not.

Marine construction and coastal infrastructure
Pile driving, dredging, and in-water construction carry legally required noise and marine mammal monitoring, positioned against the active work site and run under a plan approved months ahead. A port's security sonar was built for a different job and does not satisfy it.
Sentrix deploys in hours, holds station for the life of the project, and moves to the next one. It monitors underwater noise through the work and flags the conditions that stop it, alongside your monitoring team.

Moored nodes hold station across the waterside approach and deliver the alert that tips and cues the response. Detections reach the Sentrix dashboard, ATAK, or your Maritime Operations Center and C2 system of choice through open APIs.

Counter-UUV and asset protection
Sentrix detects and classifies uncrewed underwater vehicles, divers, and small surface craft around a shoreside, littoral, or offshore asset, and delivers each alert with the sound that produced it.
Scout carries the payload where a fixed installation cannot go, going in by hand, boat, or air and working within minutes of hitting the water. Solar-powered and low maintenance, it holds station for months. Persistent protection has to actually be persistent.

Event and expeditionary security
Some perimeters exist for two weeks, not two decades. Events, exercises, port visits, and expeditionary deployments need awareness that arrives with the force and leaves with it.
Air-deployable A-size nodes stand up a monitored area with no cable runs, no ship time, and no permanent installation. Then they move to the next site.

Operating conditions and acoustic environment
Sensor performance and mission planning both turn on local acoustic and environmental conditions. Across large or remote operating areas, observations are sparse to nonexistent.
