Caspar Cove new home to special monitor buoy

A Spotter buoy was recently deployed at the Fort Bragg cove by companies Aqualink and Sofar Ocean, designed to monitor water temperature, wind speed and direction, wave height, period and direction in real-time, with the associated data being updated hourly. The Nature Conservancy has partnered with Aqualink and Sofar Ocean to serve as a local host and bring the buoys to Northern California.
