In this video, Product Lead Dan Breyre details how the Spotter platform, combined with an integrated single-point current meter, offers a cost-effective and easy-to-deploy solution for measuring subsurface currents.The Spotter Platform now features a single-point current meter, enabling near real-time measurement of subsurface currents. Unlike traditional bottom-mounted acoustic profilers, which are costly and cumbersome, the Spotter platform is much easier to deploy and recover, offers remote data access, and is a fraction of the cost. The new single-point current meter provides marine professionals with immediate access to subsurface current speed and direction data at up to two depths via the Spotter dashboard and API.
