

Samoa Meteorology Division is the national met service for Samoa, responsible for the forecasts and marine warnings that fishers, boat operators, and coastal communities depend on.
Working with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), the division recently deployed a network of Spotters around Samoa.
On Wednesday 7 October, Emmanuel Etimani and Mattaniah Salesa of Samoa Meteorology Division join Sofar Ocean to talk about how the project came together and how the Spotter data will support the community of Samoa.
